改性玉米秸秆纤维SMA-13路用性能试验研究

摘要:为研究改性玉米秸秆纤维对玛蹄脂碎石混合料(stone matrix asphalt,SMA)-13路用性能的影响,在沥青混合料中加入质量分数分别为0.2%、0.4%、0.6%、0.8%、1.0%,长度分别为3、6、9 mm的改性玉米秸杆纤维,对沥青混合料进行车辙试验、小梁弯曲低温试验、冻融劈裂试验和铺面长期性能试验。试验结果表明:沥青混合料加入改性玉米秸秆纤维可提高动稳定度、最大弯拉应变、冻融劈裂强度比,减小因重复荷载作用而产生的车辙深度;改性玉米秸秆纤维质量分数较小时,随改性玉米秸秆纤维长度的增大,沥青混合料的路用性能增强,改性玉米秸秆纤维质量分数较大时,随改性玉米秸秆纤维长度的增大,沥青混合料的路用性能先增大后减小;改性玉米秸秆纤维长度相同时,随其质量分数的增大,沥青混合料的路用性能先增强后减弱,改性玉米秸秆纤维长度分别为3、6、9 mm,质量分数分别为0.8%、0.6%、0.4%时,沥青混合料路用性能最佳,其中改性玉米秸秆纤维长6 mm、质量分数为0.6%的沥青混合料路用性能最佳。

Experimental study on road performance of modified corn stalk fiber SMA-13

Abstract: To study the effect of modified corn straw fibers on the performance of stone matrix asphalt (SMA)-13, modified corn straw fibers are added to the asphalt mixture. Under different mass fractions (0.2%, 0.4%, 0.6%, 0.8%, 1.0%) and lengths (3, 6, 9 mm) of the modified corn straw fibers, the asphalt mixture is subjected to rutting tests, beam bending low-temperature tests, freeze-thaw splitting tests, and surface performance tests. The results show that the addition of modified corn straw fibers can effectively improve the dynamic stability, maximum tensile strain, and freeze-thaw splitting strength ratio of the asphalt mixture, while reducing the rut depth caused by repeated loading. When the mass fraction of modified corn straw fibers is low, the performance of the asphalt mixture improves with the increase in fiber length. When the mass fraction of modified corn straw fibers is high, the performance of the asphalt mixture first increases and then decreases with the increase in fiber length. When the lengths of the modified corn straw fibers are the same, as the mass fraction increases, the performance of the asphalt mixture first enhances and then weakens. For modified corn straw fibers with lengths of 3, 6, and 9 mm, the best performance is achieved at mass fractions of 0.8%, 0.6%, and 0.4%, respectively, with the best performance observed in the asphalt mixture containing 6 mm long modified corn straw fibers at a mass fraction of 0.6%.
